The Elderado Ranch was established on August 1, 1987. That is the day when Marc Elder married Lorri Martin and their lifelong journey together began.
July 1981 while helping his cousin with his cattle at the Farmer City Fair. Marc noticed Lorri and they became the best of friends over that summer.
After dating for 6 years and becoming the best of friends they were married. Life has not been easy for them and there have been many life lessons but one thing has stayed true their faith in God and the love they have for each other.
